Noble discusses her methods for her itajime shibori work, her approach, her inspirations, and her methods.
Elin is the author of Dyes & Paints, winner of a best “How-To Book” award. As former Lab Manager at PRO Chem she has worked with all classes of dyes. She has appeared on PBS, lectured, and conducted workshops across North America and internationally, and was nominated for teacher of the year award by Professional Quilter Magazine. She won the Quilt Japan Prize at Quilt National ’13 and received a 2011 Artists Fellowship Finalist award from the Massachusetts Cultural Council. Exhibitions of her work are scheduled for the Visions Art Museum in San Diego in the summer of 2014 and for the La Conner Quilt and Textile Museum in the fall of 2014.
