SAY Sí is a year round, long-term, non-profit multidisciplinary arts program that provides students opportunities to develop artistic and social skills in preparation for higher educational advancement and professional careers. It is committed to creating a premier, dynamic and nurturing educational environment for San Antonio’s artistic youth, recognizing that the arts reshape the way young people learn, communicate and prepare for their work and civic future.
FASA supports SAY Si in many ways, including enthusiastic participation in their popular Small Scale, Big Change annual fund-raising exhibit there. Steven Guzman will share the mission of SAY Si, the success stories, and how we can help them achieve their core values of:

Stephen is a poet, photographer and graphic designer from San Antonio, Texas. An English/Communications graduate from St. Mary’s University, Guzman has been part of the SAY Sí family for 4 years. He flexes his creative muscles by writing short fiction and performance poetry. As Communications Manager, he oversees the SAY Sí brand by molding and sharing its multifaceted story with various audiences. In 2016 Guzman participated in the the National Association of Latino Arts & Cultures (NALAC) Leadership Institute. He currently sits as co-chair of the Engagement Working Group for Excel Beyond the Bell, San Antonio’s out-of-school time collective impact organization.
