AHCC Food Pantry
Even though we are meeting “offsite” for our January Monthly Meeting, the AHCC’s Food Pantry will continue to distribute food to those in our community who are in need. Please bring grocery items, or your check or cash, to support the Food Pantry at AHCC. I will collect those items at our Meeting/Workshop to be held at the San Antonio Garden Center, and transport all the goods and funds back to the church. [Read more…]
FASA Monthly Meeting Minutes

Phyllis Jordan opened the meeting at 10:03AM. Three guests were introduced. Luci Gartriel who met Ida Spence through Girl Scouting; Mary Beth Swofford of Incarnate Word who is interested in mixed media and working with material; Joan Wallace, a snowbird from Pennsylvania. Joan is particularly interested in quilt art.
The November general meeting minutes were sent out by e-mail. A motion was made and seconded to accept the minutes as written and a voice vote approved the minutes. [Read more…]

NOVEMBER 2014 FOOD PANTRY
As you go to the grocery store, past the piles of plump orange pumpkins and cheery chrysanthemums, these are some items still welcome at the Food Pantry of AHCC, where we hold our monthly meetings:
- Canned sweet potatoes, 22 oz.
- Packages marshmallows
- Cans crushed pineapples
- Cans evaporated milk
- One-lb. cans ham (not chopped)
The basics are always welcome (see the attached list). Please leave non-perishable foods, hygiene items, etc. outside Room 12.
If you prefer, you may give cash or checks (made out to “AHCC” with “Food Pantry” written in the memo line, in the envelope on the sign-in table, and please sign in as a donor to the Food Bank.
