FASA General Meeting of Monday 13 May 2019
President Ida Ellis called the meeting to order at 1005.
Education Chair Sherry Christensen introduced the Artist of the Month, Annie Centeno . Annie is a mixed media artist who has been creating accessories and concept pieces since 2000. Her work may be seen at Mockingbird Handprints in Bluestar.
Sherry reminded everyone that the May Studio Tour would be at Maison Christensen; RSVP required as luncheon will be served.
Ida asked members of the outgoing board to come forward. She presented each woman with a long stemmed rose and thanked her for her contrbutions. Outgoing Board members who were present inclued Peggy McCaskill Foerster, Sherry Christensen, Deb Harris, Lyn Belisle, Beth Cunningham,Cynthia Vaughn, Nettie Birnbaum, Jean Dahlgren, Annie Centeno, Cynthy Anderson and Kathleen Lindemann. Dian Lamb and Sue Corbett were also recognized for their work at the Runway Show.
Cynthy then introducedthe new and returning Board Members:

Peggy McCaskill Foerster made a motion to elect Caryl Gaubatz to the position of secretary.
Phyllis Jordan -seconded. Motion carried.
Ida presented new board members with a rose. Cynthy installed the new Board.
The meeting was adjourned . Luncheon followed concurrently with a travelogue presented by Terry Gay Puckett, Kathleen Lindemann, Victoria Simmons, and Dale Jenssen, who had recently traveled to Cuba.
