Lyn Belisle lives and works in historic, multicultural San Antonio, Texas. She studied art with Philip Evett, Bill Bristow and Elizabeth Ridenhower at Trinity University as a Fine Arts major. Recently, she studied painting with Gwen Fox in Taos and Ellen Rolli in Boston. Her work in regional and national galleries and collections includes large-scale origami constructions, encaustic photo-collages, mixed-media acrylic paintings, and earthenware. In January of 2103, she founded Lyn Belisle Studio where she is artist-in-residence and conducts numerous workshops on creativity and mixed media.
Lyn has exhibited her artwork extensively since 1974 and recently (2016 exhibitions) has had works in:
