9th Annual Midtown Art in the Park Call to Artists
The 9th Annual Midtown Art in the Park is a fine art festival featuring local and regional artists selling their original works. A boutique style art market set in our urban mixed-use community, this event encompasses Midtown’s love of culture and art.
The festival takes place at Elizabeth Baldwin Park, located at 1701 Elgin on Saturday, April 11, 2015, 10AM to 6 PM.
Artist’s booths are set up along the meandering walking paths in the park. Entertainment is provided by some of Houston’s best live musicians and bands. Great food by Houston’s #1 rated gourmet food trucks. The festival features works for sale by well-known local and regional artists at a variety of price points.
Artists who wish to be considered may apply from now through Wednesday, February 11, 2015 using Zapplication©. There is a $10 non-refundable application fee. Artists keep 100% of their sales. For more details, visit the website at www.midtownartinthepark.com.

Susie Monday is an artist and teacher who works from her studio in Pipe Creek, Texas, near San Antonio. As Director of Exhibits and Programs of the San Antonio Children’s Museum, Susie designed the initial educational plan and exhibits for the museum, as well as launched the museum’s programming.
